More Favorite Things from Women-Owned Small Businesses

If you read Part 1, you already know… once I start finding good things from women-owned small businesses, I don’t really stop.

Because the truth is, there are so many women out there building something — quietly, steadily, and often in the middle of everything else life throws at them. And the more I notice it, the more I want to support it.

Out here, we live that same kind of life. You build something over time, piece by piece. You figure things out as you go. And you keep showing up because it matters to you.

So when I find products that are thoughtful, useful, or just genuinely well done, I pay attention. Especially when they’re coming from female founders who are doing the same kind of work behind the scenes.

This second list is full of more of those finds — things I’d actually use, gift, or come back to again. The kind of products that fit into real life and make it just a little bit better.

Let’s keep going.

SWAY Headbands

Owner: Tanya Flemister · swayheadbands.com

This is another one that fits right into everyday life around here. Between working on the farm, being in and out of the warehouse, and just the constant movement of the day, I’m always looking for simple things that actually stay put.

Because here’s the thing — if it slides, pulls, or needs constant adjusting, I’m not going to keep using it. I need something I can put on and forget about.

Short Stretch Non-Slip Headband – Maroon

This is what makes this one different — it’s designed to actually stay in place. It has a hidden six-clip system built in, so it holds through movement, wind, and everything else that comes with a full day.

I also love that it’s made from a lightweight bamboo and cotton blend, so it’s breathable and moisture-wicking — which matters more than you think when you’re going in and out of the heat or working through a humid day.

This is one of those pieces that earns its spot. Put it on, it stays, and you don’t have to think about it again — and honestly, that’s exactly what I’m looking for most days.

Dear Naura

Owner: Karen Mok · dearnaura.com

This is one of those categories where I’ve tried a lot of things over the years. When you’re working outside in the heat, moving all day, and going in and out of different environments, you want something that actually works — but I’ve also found myself wanting something a little more natural too.

And honestly, that combination can be hard to find. You either get something natural that doesn’t hold up… or something that works but isn’t quite what you want to be using every day.

Natural Deodorant – 24 Hour Odor Control

This is what caught my attention — it’s both aluminum-free and baking soda–free, which matters if you’ve ever dealt with irritation from natural deodorants. But it’s also designed to actually handle odor, using ingredients like magnesium and zinc that help neutralize it instead of just covering it up.

And that’s the key for me. On a hot summer day on the farm, you’re not just sitting still — you’re moving, lifting, going in and out of the heat. You need something that can keep up with real life.

I like that this feels like a better-for-you option, but still practical. Because at the end of the day, it still has to do its job.

Year After Year

Owner: Dana Longland · yearafteryear.ca

This one made me smile right away because it reminded me so much of our house. With four girls, someone always has something with them — a book, a snack, a water bottle, a sweatshirt… you name it. There’s always a pile of “stuff” that somehow needs to go from one place to another.

And I’ve learned that having a good bag to corral it all actually matters. Otherwise, it just ends up everywhere — the car, the kitchen counter, the warehouse office… all of it.

Lucky Stars Tote

This tote feels like one of those simple solutions that just makes life easier. It’s roomy enough to hold all the extras that seem to follow kids around, but still cute enough that they actually want to carry it. And that’s half the battle right there.

I can see this getting used constantly — heading to activities, tossing things in for a day out, or even just keeping everything together in the car so it’s not scattered everywhere. It’s practical, but still fun, which is exactly the kind of balance I look for.

Honestly, anything that helps keep life a little more organized with kids around is a win in my book.

Flirty Pineapple

Owner: Madison Riddolls · flirtypineapple.com

This is one of those brands that feels fun right away — but also really practical once you think about it. With four girls, we are constantly doing hair in our house. Ponytails, braids, messy buns… it’s just part of our everyday rhythm.

And around here, I’m always needing something to just get my own hair up and out of the way — whether I’m working outside, in the warehouse, or just trying to get through the day without messing with it constantly.

Claw Clip

This is the kind of everyday product that really earns its spot. These clips are designed to actually hold — not just look cute for five minutes and then fall out. They’re made to work for different hair types, which matters in a house like ours where everyone’s hair is a little different.

I also love that they’re durable and comfortable — no pulling, no headaches, just something that works when you need it to. That’s huge when you’re putting your hair up quickly and moving on to the next thing.

This is one of those simple things that makes a difference on busy days. Twist your hair up, clip it, and go — and honestly, that’s exactly what most of our days look like.

Shade Tree Naturals

Owner: Tara Scheel · shadetreenaturals.com

This is one of those small businesses that just fits into real life. Simple, natural products you actually use every day — not something that sits on a shelf and looks pretty but never gets touched.

And honestly, that’s what I appreciate most. Whether we’re outside on the farm in the wind or going in and out of our warehouse all day, you start to notice the little things that make a difference. Dry lips is one of those things you don’t think about… until you do.

Seasonal Lip Balm Trio

This set is such a good example of small business done well. You’re getting three different seasonal flavors — Honey Vanilla Orange, Grapefruit Lime, and Jasmine Orange — and they all feel fresh, simple, and really usable. Nothing overly strong or artificial, just clean scents that you actually want to keep reaching for.

I also love that these are made with ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax. You can feel the difference when something is made well — it actually lasts, actually hydrates, and doesn’t leave you constantly reapplying.

This is the kind of thing I’d keep one in my coat pocket, one in the pickup, and one in the house — because around here, you always want one within reach.

Apothecuryous

Owner: Tatiana Lynn Boland · apothecuryous.com

This one caught my eye because it feels like the kind of product that invites you to slow down for a minute, and honestly, that doesn’t happen often enough. Farm life can be full-speed all day long, and sometimes even a small routine that feels calming and intentional can make a difference.

I’m always drawn to products that meet a real desire, not just a need. Sometimes that looks like something practical, and sometimes it looks like giving yourself five quiet minutes to take care of your skin and feel a little more pulled together.

Face Yoga Set | Saving Face Serum + Guasha Tool

This feels like such a thoughtful little self-care set. I love that it pairs a serum with a gua sha tool, because it turns skincare into more of a ritual instead of just one more thing to rush through before bed. There’s something really appealing about a product that helps you slow down, take a breath, and do something that feels good while still being useful.

And honestly, that’s why I’d include this on a list like this. It feels giftable, it feels special, and it’s the kind of thing that speaks to that desire we all have to take a little better care of ourselves without making it overly complicated.

Jenna Bricher

Owner: Jenna Bee · jennabricher.com

Okay, this one made me laugh a little because if I had found this brand back in my nursing years, I absolutely would have taken notice. Supportive swimwear for fuller busts is one of those things that sounds simple until you actually try to shop for it.

And honestly, that’s why I like this brand. Jenna clearly built it to solve a real problem for women who are tired of settling for swimwear that looks cute on the hanger but does absolutely nothing once you put it on.

Gigi Bikini Top

What stood out to me here is that this isn’t just swimwear trying to be pretty first and useful second. The whole brand is designed for fuller bust support, and that matters. This top has that polished, feminine look, but it’s backed by the kind of fit details that actually make a difference when you need lift, structure, and a little peace of mind at the pool or beach. As a farm wife and mom, I always appreciate products that meet a real need and still make you feel good wearing them.

Willow Field Soap

Owner: Terri · willowfieldsoap.com

This is one of those small businesses that just feels like care. You can tell it didn’t start as a big business idea — it started because someone wanted something better for their own skin… and then decided to share it.

And I get that. On the farm, especially in the dry months, your hands take a beating. Between working outside, washing up constantly, and just life in general, you start to notice what actually helps… and what doesn’t.

Dreams Soap

This bar feels like a little upgrade to your everyday routine — not fancy for the sake of fancy, but actually good. It’s made with ingredients like shea butter, avocado oil, and even silk, which gives it this really smooth, creamy feel.

The scent is one of those light, happy blends — a little citrus, a little vanilla — nothing overpowering, just clean and fresh in the best way.

It’s one of those things that feels small, but makes your day just a little better. And those are the kinds of products I keep coming back to.

Be Happe Designs

Owner: Brooke Happe · behappedesigns.com

This one feels especially practical to me because hats are just part of life around here. Whether we’re outside on the farm or in our temperature-controlled warehouse, I’m always reaching for something that keeps me warm but still feels cute and easy to wear.

That’s why this stood out right away. I love products that meet a real need in everyday life, but still have a little personality to them. It doesn’t have to be fancy — it just has to be something you’ll actually want to put on again and again.

Crochet Puff Stitch Slouch Hat - Purple

This is the kind of hat that works for real life. It looks soft, cozy, and easy to throw on for cold mornings, long days in the warehouse, or running back and forth outside when the weather can’t make up its mind. I like that it feels practical first, but still has enough style and color to make it feel fun instead of purely functional.

As a farm wife, I appreciate things that earn their place. A good hat absolutely does that around here, and this one feels like something you’d keep reaching for all season long.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, supporting women-owned businesses isn’t about being perfect. It’s just about being intentional and choosing to put your money somewhere it helps a real person keep going.

That matters to me, especially as someone living this kind of small business life too. We know how much every order, every customer, and every bit of support can mean.

If something caught your eye here, I hope you’ll go shop small, support women-owned businesses, and then come back and tell me which one you’re trying first.
