THE STORY BEHIND THE KERNELS
Small Farm. Big Flavor.
Free Day Popcorn Company was founded by Nate and Stacey Freitag in 2015, but popcorn has been part of our family farm much longer than that. Nate's family has grown popcorn here for generations.
We started Free Day because we wanted people to experience popcorn the way we knew it — fresh from the farm, with a connection to the people and place that grew it.
Today, we grow our popcorn near Byron, Nebraska, package and ship it ourselves, and are raising four daughters alongside the business. When you choose Free Day, you're supporting our family farm directly — not a boardroom of corporate shareholders.
